Online Orders placed by Guest Shoppers at Schelters receive our best efforts.

We will contact you within 1 business day by phone or email to confirm your order details and make sure your order is processed quickly and correctly - the first time. Shop with confidence, if you need it..we've got it. We'll make every effort to deliver your order complete within 1-2 business days. If you need expedited or special services, drop us a note in the comments section of your order OR give us a call at 1-855-669-2201 for helpful assistance. 

Delivery Service and Order Minimums

FREE DELIVERY - We welcome orders of all sizes. Orders for most items that total to $ 49.99  before taxes are shipped FREE of charge in our local area. If your order is under $ 49.99 a small order fee of $ 4.99 will be applied. Back Ordered items are always shipped free of charge.

FAST DELIVERY to your residence or workplace in most cases within 1 - 2 business days on in stock items ( office furniture and large print/copiers excluded). In a rush - give us a call before 9 AM to see if we can add an instock item you need to the delivery truck fo same day service, no extra fees apply for same day service when available.

OUTSIDE LOCAL MARKET - Delivery service is available outside of our local market area for some items however we reserve the right to review request for delivery service and to review options to best serve your requirements.( see map area in About Us ). Delivery outside of our local market area may be available, please contact us for details.

Deliveries to our customers are generally Monday to Friday between 9 AM and 5 PM. Timed or scheduled delivery is only available on Office Furniture and Office Equipment Installations. In the event that you are not available at the time of delivery to sign for your order our delivery drivers will, at their discretion, leave your parcel at the Front Door or Receiving Door of your facility. NSR ( No Signature Received if you are not there to sign ) deliveries require our drivers to take a picture of the delivery ( date and time stamped ) and they will make an attempt to contact you by phone to let you know that the delivery has been made and where the package(s) have been left. 

OVERSIZED AND HEAVY GOODS - Delivery charges are standard on all office furniture and large or heavy items including oversized white boards/cork boards, commercial shredders, safes, chair mats and other above average sized items. The special nature of safely transporting and handling these items involves additional complications which are reflected in the delivery charges applied. 

General Returns Policy

Goods must be returned within 14 days of purchase in unused as new conditionand in unopened original packaging and with receipt/invoice as proof of purchase.Some items including office furniture, office machines and technology items and other customized product including printing and copying are not returnable.

Returned goods purchased at a retail location or on-line by non Business Account Customers will receive a refund by same method as payment.Such retail returns require the items to be returned to the retail location where they were purchased...for assistance please contact your local retail store.

Goods purchased on a Business Credit Account require return authorization (R.A.) from a Schelters staff person.  If you require pick up of an item ordered in error at your account location, Schelter may charge a pick up fee of $ 10 for the pick up of returned items. Such fee to be applied as a deduction from any refund or credit provided. Fee for pick up may be waived if product is returned by customer to our retail location OR another order is received for delivery upon request for a replacement item, in which case the return will be collected with the new delivery.

Returned goods outside of our 14 day window will require pre-approval. Non stocking or special ordered items may be denied return. If an item is accepted as returnable - such return will be subject to a 20 percent restocking fee which will be deducted from any refund or credit provided.

The returns process generally is quick and easy, however when items are non stocking, special ordered or deffective - additional authorizations and manufacaturers support may be required. Schelters makes exceptional efforts to expedite these processes however your patience may be required as we solve these challenges. Please maintain good and accurate documentation of your returns with Schelters as this insures a higher level of accuracy.

Office Furniture Returns

Furniture may not be returned. Deffective furniture will be repaired/replaced with the support of the manufacturers warranty procedure in a timely fashion. Please contact staff immediately for assistance with any deffective furniture item purchased. Many of our furniture suppliers offer limited lifetime warranties that may cover replacement of product only but do not cover chargeable shipping and processing fees associated with warranty service (staff will review service fees at time of claim).

Office Machines and Technology Products Returns

Most consumer office machines come with a one year warranty, this manufacturers warranty is extended by the manufacturer and does not implicate Schelters to provide exchange/repair or replacement of the equipment. As such all Office Machines are not returnable if packaging has been opened or product has been used. Staff can assist you in having your machine serviced during your warranty period. Extended warranties are available on many office machines. Of particular concern, issues of hygene must be considered in the return of any item that touches human skin or is in direct contact with the individual using it. Items such as mice, keyboards, head sets, ear and microphones and telephones require considerable contact with the user...as such these items may not be returned due to hybenic concerns.

Printing Returns

Most Printed products will be replaced quickly and at no charge if we have done the work incorrectly. We strive for accuracy and proofing prior to starting work. In some cases, customers may be required to approve printed work prior to progression. In those cases, proof printed work are not returnable.

Ink and Toner Returns

All recycled or generic inks and toners from Fuzion and Data Products are 100 % garanteed. We encourage customers to try out this low cost, enviromentally friendly solution. Original branded Inks and Toners have a very low failure rate (less than 1 in 1000), as such we will encourage you to contact the machine manufacturer for technical support to ensure that the cartridge is not working correctly prior to it's return. Returns of ink and toner are at the sole discretion of the manufacturer and require their approval.In such cases, return will come in the form of product exchange only - deffective cartridge for non deffective cartridge exchange. Please contact staff for assistance if you are having trouble with your ink/toner. Inks and Toners for older models of equipment may be denied return or may be returned as an obsolescence credit (reduced rate).

Service Fees and EHF Fees

Most of the service provided at Schelters is free. However, some special service fee's can be charged from time to time - including fees for delivery of office furniture and other extremely large or heavy goods, repairs, installation, assembly, interest on overdue accounts, typsetting, jobbing and other labour fees. Special fees for service will be discussed with you by staff prior to starting the work. EHF or Enviromental Handling Fees may be applied to certain electronics equipment and consumeables like batteries and printer cartridges. Fees charged by Schelter's are in-line with other industry resellers and are directly related to the EHF Fees applied to the items cost as applied/submitted by the manufacturer at time of distrobution to resellers like Schelters in Ontario. If you have questions about EHF fees - please ask. 

Ad Match Low Price Guarantee Policy

At Schelters Stockroom Supply Co. we want to make it easy for you to save money. We guarantee to match the published retail selling price of a local competitor. Simply show us their advertisement, we might need to confirm the products availability at our competitors location and if we have one in stock we'll match their price on the spot, if we don't have one but can locate one in our warehouse, we would be happy to order it in for you. Simply ask a sales person to Ad Match PRIOR to your purchase, we'll get to work on saving you money.

Some non local competitors ( internet or catalogue ) might have hidden processing and shipping fees that we need to investigate. We'ed be happy to do a price comparison and match their true* price as well.

Sorry, some prices can't be matched. "Buy one, get one discounted" or "Clearance" or "limited purchase" or "Buy this and receive that free" or "discontinued" or "refurbished" or "going out of business" or "rewards card discounts" or "contract prices" or bulk discounts where the price of the individual product is not clear, for example.."NO HST" or "15 % off" does not tell us the actual price of the item. Of course, some of our competitors make mistakes in their advertising, which is why we must check out their offer before agreeing to match it. We do not match competitors mistake offers or mistake prices. Products for ad match must be identical in every way. Also, we don't Ad Match to items previously purchased at Schelters, Ad Match applies only to new purchases.

General Pricing and Marketing Policy

We take a great deal of care to ensure that the information on this site is both accurate and current. However prices, descriptions and photography are subject to error. We are not responsible for typographical or photographic errors and reserve the right to correct errors at any time. We cannot compensate nor accept liability for consequences arising from such errors. Some items may have periodic out of stocks in which case an item of simular quality and function may be substituted.

We respect your privacy and are committed to maintaining your confidence and trust. Accordingly, we maintain the following privacy policy to protect personal information you provide online. Any information you give to us will be held with extreme care and will not be used in ways that you have not consented to.

If you choose to email us and provide personally identifiable information about yourself, we will not use the information for any purpose other than to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell, rent, loan, trade or lease any personal information collected on our site. Our web site logs are not personally identifiable and we make no attempt to link them with the individuals that actually browse the site.

Our web sites track information about the visits to the web site. For example, it compiles statistics that show the daily number of visitors to the site, the daily requests received for particular files on the web site, and what countries those requests come from.
